Pedro Neves es un cineasta y productor portugués dedicado al cine documental. Estudió en Oporto, es máster en Cultura y Comunicación, especialidad en Documental, y escribió una tesis sobre documentales de la Revolución de los Claveles. En 2007 asistió a la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de Cuba y, en 2008, fundó Red Desert Films.
Sus películas han sido premiadas y exhibidas en festivales como Clermont-Ferrand, Guadalajara, Documenta Madrid, Doclisboa, Sevilla, Curtas Vila do Conde, CPH:DOX, Porto/Post/Doc o Tesalónica. Entre sus obras destacan Los olvidados (2009), Agua fría (2011), Hospedaria (2014), La playa (2016), Tarrafal (2016) y Sueños de una revolución (2023). Su última película es Los continuadores de la revolución (2025).
Leiria, 1977) is a Portuguese filmmaker and producer devoted to documentary cinema. He studied in Porto and holds a master's degree in Culture and Communication, specializing in Documentary Film, having written his thesis on documentaries produced during the Carnation Revolution. In 2007, he attended the International School of Film and Television in Cuba, and in 2008 he founded Red Desert Films.
His films have received awards and have been screened at international festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Guadalajara, Documenta Madrid, Doclisboa, Seville, Curtas Vila do Conde, CPH:DOX, Porto/Post/Doc, and Thessaloniki. His works include The Forgotten (2009), Cold Water (2011), Hospedaria (2014), The Beach (2016), Tarrafal (2016), and Dreams of a Revolution (2023). His most recent film is The Continuators of the Revolution (2025).

Michela Fabbrocino es investigadora, autora, fotógrafa, curadora y profesora titular de Fotografía en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Bari, donde coordina la Dirección de Estudios de cine, fotografía y audiovisual en el nivel de grado y los programas de máster especializados en fotografía y cine. Cuenta con una sólida formación académica, con un Doctorado en arte visual y educación obtenido en la Universidad de Granada y una licenciatura en fotografía en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Nápoles.
Experta en fotografía social, antropológica y científica, participa en congresos internacionales, profundizando en el uso de la fotografía como herramienta de investigación social. Además, es curadora fotográfica y se dedica al apoyo de autores emergentes, ayudándoles a perfeccionar sus proyectos.
Michela Fabbrocino is a researcher, author, photographer, curator, and Professor of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari. She coordinates the Film, Photography, and Audiovisual Studies Department at the undergraduate level and the specialized Master's programs in Photography and Film. She has a strong academic background, holding a Doctorate in Visual Arts and Education from the University of Granada and a Bachelor of Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
An expert in social, anthropological, and scientific photography, she participates in international conferences, deepening her understanding of photography as a tool for social research. She is also a photographic curator and dedicates herself to supporting emerging authors, helping them refine their projects.

Tras su formación en el Máster Oficial en Formación del Profesorado de Secundaria y el Máster en Artes visuales y Educación, desarrolla actualmente su investigación en el Programa de Doctorado en Artes Visuales y Educación de la Universidad de Granada.
Su trabajo articula modelos narrativos de creación audiovisual basados en la referencialidad y el relato abierto desde las A/r/tography Films, mostrado algunos de sus proyectos en el contexto de A/R/TOGRÁFICA (2023-25), así como en eventos internacionales dedicados al vídeo experimental como Cortodianidad. Fragmentos de memoria Audiovisual (Colombia, 2025) y Collapsorium. A/r/tographic Lab Chicago (Estados Unidos, 2025) .
Ha participado en el último año en el libro Laboratorios de A/R/Tografía Visual: Instrumentos para la enseñanza y aprendizaje de las Artes en la formación docente (2025), desarrollando una propuesta en torno a la bionarrativa como práctica audiovisual para el aprendizaje audiovisual.
